Each pair is made with locally sourced, raw materials using LWG Gold-rated tanneries that use eco-friendly milling processes, as well as chromium-free and vegetable-tanned leather whenever possible. By using recycled materials and computer-generated samples and minimizing packaging, Salt Umber is dedicated to reducing waste throughout the production process – and their family-owned factories offer safe working conditions and fair wages to women artisans.
